Staff, faculty lauded at annual ‘Cheers for Peers’
employees were celebrated during the annual “Cheers for Peers” staff award event.
Chapin Auditorium was buzzing with excitement on May 9 as employees of gathered to celebrate each other during the annual “Cheers for Peers” staff award event.
The event honored 116 employees with milestone anniversaries, as well as those who were nominated by their colleagues for Mary Lyon Awards for leadership and Trailblazer Awards.
“Time and time again, MHC employees demonstrate their high performance in their roles, commitment to the work of the College, and passion to make the world a better place,” said Jake Toomey, associate vice president for Human Resources. “The exceptional contributions and service of its employees is what has helped define as a renowned and leading education institution. The Cheers for Peers event is one way we recognize and celebrate the College's dedicated and hardworking people who make Mount Holyoke the amazing place that it is.”
